Life, Liberty, & The Pursuit Of Happiness via Effective Defensive Weapons
None of my firearms have been used in criminal activities.
My magazine fed semiautomatic guns are just as innocent as the revolver, lever, bolt, or pump action guns.
I have decent sample size and none were lost in a tragic boating accident.
I’m thinking we don’t have a gun problem.
“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” -Benjamin Franklin
The 2nd Amendment outlines an essential Liberty. Gun bans and more strict legislation beyond what we already have on firearms violate our natural rights.
Funny thing about that quote above (which is true) – it is false security you gain by giving up these freedoms and liberties. You are giving up your ability and your right to effectively defend yourself. You are relying on the government to protect you. As we just saw they are not bound by law to do so. (That means the police don’t have to save you)
As a police officer I am armed – Why shouldn’t you have that same ability?
Bad things do happen to good people and good people should have the ability and the right to effectively defend themselves.
If you think an AR15 is not a good choice as a defensive weapon, I know you know nothing about violence, terminal ballistics, or firearms.
