I know Jon sold it and it is running under a diffrent name now because my buddy picked up a handstop from the new owner and it had his logo/name lasered on it. I'll try and remeber it or call my buddy and see if he remebers.

Fury end cap removed and replaced with a legacy UTL tailcap. The cable was cut and spliced to a new surefire tape switch with the constant on button. The cable was heat wrapped to ensure its waterproof. The light is offset at the 2:00 with a VTAC mounted on the rail at 12:00.

I need a now pro offset mount for the scout that tucks the light to the Rail but does NOT push it forward. If anything I'd like to see a mount that shifts the light backwards. I like the lamp as far away from the muzzle as possible without totally obscuring the light pattern.
 
Roland, most of the IWC mounts are ambi (left or right mount) just by flipping the mount over. You could flip the mount over and mount the light to it backwards. That would push the light back.

They may not be dishonorable at all, but they are associated with those that I have no desire to ever endorse, so in the end they chose their professional relationships.

You people on the internet can buy 5000 of their products if it suits your needs. I have the choice to spend my money where I want, and I choose to not spend it with companies that go into business with industry partners that I don't respect.

This is a personal decision and not a jihad to see mother fuckers broken and destitute, if that makes any sense.
 
Work in progress, swapping the T1 for a 2.5-10 for a quasi precision rig for hunting/longer range since that's what I use it for mostly. Currently building an SBR for everything else. I don't normally use the SF 60 rounder but CSAT standards called for 34 (or so) rounds, and I didn't feel like reloading. Problem solved. I'll eventually be swapping the URX III for a Geissele MK1 that's just sitting here looking sexy as phuck.

Roland, I also want to move my light back (one of the reason for wanting to swap the KAC for the Geissele) but then I'll lose the ability to run it as efficiently ambi. Do you have a work around for this? How I have my light set up now allows me to switch seamlessly. Makes it just as easy as shooting righty. I don't like the light sticking past there though.
 
After much back and forth about it, I've gone to moving all of my controls to the 12 ' o'clock rail.

I fought and fought the idea for a while. My work guns had the laser there so it made no sense to break from that SOP.

My change in thinking is a result of moving my laser from 12 to 3 on my work carbines.

I have always advocated against this in the past but the necessity to be able to mount in line night optics on the 12 o'clock rail space made me go ahead and move the laser. Having it on the side only exposes the laser housing to slightly more impact than being on top. Especially on assault rifles with no fixed FSP. By running a sure fire double tape switch on top I can now utilize both the light and laser using either hand (while firing from either shoulder) and I can engage the switch using either thumb OR either finger tips depending on if I'm grasping the forearm assembly with a thumbs forward grip or a C-clamp barricade supported grip.

This is the most ambi set up that I have ever had on any rifle and the only downside is the LA5 is hanging on the side of my assault rifle.
