Rattle can paint jobs

Here are a couple guns I've rattle canned.

The one on the left was a "I wonder if I could" and the middle is a f@*k it and paint it, then again a year later and now several years later I have no clue own many layers are on it!

Our method may not have been exactly by the TACOM guidance.... but I don't think anyone will mind. This was with the paints we had on hand. Aervoe urban tan and brown for the base coat. The Krylon Fusion camo greens weren't perfect... more of a blue-green and "electric lime" than the Aervoe dark green and light green I wanted. I'm sure it'll look fine after a trip through the woods.

Here is the last one I did. BCM KMR's 14.5" ELW and a 11.5" BFH over my Colt SBR lower. Both are wearing Warcomps now...and some older ones.

Not an AR, but still a gun part. Still letting the paint dry off, but it looks good. I've posted it here before how I get my Multicam, but here it is again:

I used Desert Sand for the cream splotches. For the dark brown splotches, I used Black misted with Earth Brown. Next layer, I used Earth Yellow (misted with Light Green), and Dark Green. Final layer I used Earth Brown, Khaki, and Light Tan. Negative stenciling to generate the patterns (traced from a Multicam rifle case), all paints were from Aervoe's Camo or Digital Camo line.

The SBR had been painted 2014-JUL, and it's been about 2170 rounds later; you can see the wear's not been too bad, most of which has been generated by biathlons.

I repainted my AR this summer.

Since then I changed the rail. Here is how it sits now.

I made up some handheld stencils I just use for edge patterns, hit it with Rustoleum Camo paints. I hang them by the flash hider using MIG wire. BTW, Rustoleum BBQ paint holds up VERY well on stainless barrels.
