I'm former LEO (1990-2000) retired due to knee injury. Currently in sales. Have a 15 month old baby girl. I try to take at least 2 shooting classes a year. Recently took the Rangemaster Instructor Development Class with intentions of teaching CCW classes locally.

I'm John, been a cop for about a year and a half. I like to train as much as possible. My favorite quote is "You don't know what you don't know." So when people with more experience talk I just listen.

I spent 15 years in the Army Reserve and National Guard. National Guard time in SF. Retired firefighter/paramedic. Worked as a Sheriff's Deputy for a while. Now a reserve Deputy. Served on a swat team as a medic for about 14 years. Still serving in that role. Looking forward to this new forum. Hope it is a lot like a certain other forum that was really good a few years ago.

11 years LE in a decent sized, diverse county agency in AL. 8 years part time tac unit, most of which have revolved around the slow shooting rifle with a telescope on top. I've been a departmental instructor going on 5 years now and I dabble in some private instruction with some of my local peers. I like to talk about and learn about all things shooting. Beyond all of that I do a lot of kydex tinkering and I like to camp and be all Dad/ Husbandly like with my kids and awesome wife too. And I also failed to incapacitate the Death Star.

Presently back in Patrol training newbies. Love guns and shooting. Don't have a desire to work SWAT, but I love to debate legal stuff and tactics. Handguns and rifles are my thing.
