My name is Roland and I approve this message.....
Matt, I have my AVS setup "JPC-ish" with just the plates (front, back, and side if needed) and cummerbund, no harness. I'll get pics up later.
Front:
3x M4 flap, which can be switched with the 3x SR mag fap if needed. Behind that is my Winkler fixed blade, and a U94 PTT on the upper left MOLLE web.
The bottom of the platebag has a TYR small sustainment pouch.
Right side:
TQ to the right of the front plate on the outside of the cummerbund, in an S&S pouch
Handheld light/Leatherman Skeletool in a double-pistol Ten-Speed inside the cummerbund
3x M4 Ten-speed
Left Side:
Crye JPC radio pouch inside the cummerbund, velcro'd to the front
Esstac double pistol outside. Probably going to downgrade to the single pistol soon.
Crye SmartPouch 6x6 GP
Velocity micro dump pouch
Back:
I rotate between two Crye panels as needed. The most-used one is the pouch backpanel, with bangs at the top, sustainment stuff under that (batteries, spare tape switch, etc.), and my Mayflower IFAK under that. The other panel is the Crye backpack one.
On the bottom of the platebag is a Crye side-pull mag pouch.
With this setup, the only thing on my belt is my pistol, and IFAK if I'm using the backpack panel. It rides well, and even in this "minimal" configuration, I find the AVS to be more comfortable than the JPC.
Oh, and...
