Matt Haught is Vice President and Senior Instructor with SYMTAC Consulting LLC, the firearms-training organization founded by his father, Rob Haught. Matt represents the second generation of the Haught shotgun-training lineage while developing a distinct professional identity as a competitive shooter, instructor, performance-standard developer, equipment consultant, and advocate for practical defensive-shotgun education.
Matt grew up around firearms instruction and competition, but his development extends beyond the system created by his father. He has trained with instructors including Ken Hackathorn, Craig Douglas, Cecil Burch, Ernest Langdon, and others.
