Yet another question from a Glock noob

Question for those of you with experience loading Glock mags. How hard should it be to get the last couple rounds into the magazine? I've had my "new" Glock 22 out to shoot it a couple of times, and it seems to me that the loading the last couple rounds into the magazines is really difficult. My experience with magazines is pretty much limited to my tokarev, which is single stack, and my AR, which is double feed, and thus pretty easy to load. Is it just a feature of double stack single feed mags, or am I missing something here?

Does not pass up an opportunity to criticize P&S.
G22 mags are notoriously stiff on the last round. If you can muscle it in, do it. If not, work the springs in a little and it will loose up quick.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't muscling through an actual defect.
