RFI: Grey Ghost Gear Minimalist Plate Carrier

Grey Ghost Gear's President's Day sale has the Typhon version of their Minimalist Plate Carrier on sale for $57 and change. I'm picking one up as a spare rig to wear when it's 110 degrees in the summer and I don't want/need to be wrapped up in my Mayflower LPAC.

Has anyone here been rocking one of these for any appreciable amount of time? How do you have it set up?

I'm mostly interested in seeing if and how folks are attaching clip-in chest rigs to this PC. I have a Mayflower UW Chest Rig, QD, setup bare-bones with TenSpeed pouches for the LPAC and thinking about grabbing something like the EGL VOCR/Haley D3CR for a bit more versatility. Note: I'm not LE or Mil and have no specific "mission" to drive this gear train. This will be used mostly for classes/range use and in the infinitesimal chance I'll ever need it, I'll have it. And because I can. One of the reasons I like the Mayflower Low Profile Armor Carrier is the ability to scale it up or down and is easily adaptable to multiple platforms. I'd like to get at least a little of the same/similar versatility out of this PC.

The issue I'm seeing from looking at the PC is how to anchor the sides of the chest rig to the PC without using the waist strap and running it around the rear circumference of the PC. Down Range Gear has a lot of widgets that look like they'd be helpful, but I'd like to hear from folks who might have already tackled this particular issue with this PC or one similar without a cumberbun (eg the BFG Plateminus V1).

Jeff did you work out a way to run fastex rigs on the minimalist?

Real life has been getting in the way of screwing with projects so I haven't had a chance to play with it much, but I picked up the Chest Rig Armor Interface Kit (http://downrangegear.net/Down_Range_Gear_Chest_Rig__Armor_Interface_Kit.html) from Down Range Gear. A pair of the QASM Vertical Connectors (http://downrangegear.net/Down_Range_Gear_QASM_Vertical_Connector.html) on the front of the PC and a pair of the PALS Shock Cord Anchors (http://downrangegear.net/Down_Range_Gear_PALS_Shock_Cord_Anchor_1.html) on the back seems like the ticket for now.
