Khard Hacks

I have been using my Khard a lot lately. I made a few changes to it.

First one...

Exterior Placard storage

I used a few QASM buckles and sewed up a quick loop velcro panel. My Spiritus Systems placard now docks to the exterior of the bag for easy storage / transport / access.

There are better ways to do the loop velcro panel, but you get the idea.

I never liked that the waist straps were permanently attached, I haven't used them to date, but I did not want to lose the ability to do so in the future.

So I cut the straps near the bag and sewed in some TriGlides. (I couldn't find Gray... meaning it wasn't on Amazon Prime.)

Now I can keep the waist straps in one of the side pockets and use when required by threading them through the triglide. Now I do not have to stow them around the back, which hinders opening the bag fully.

Stack great in the Khard, I also use a velcro MOLLE panel to overlay them.

The DBS group on FB has great Khard hacks including replacing the waist belt buckle with a Cobra, or my personal Favorite, using some Onewrap to roll and tie down the waist belt so its out of the way but doesn't impede bag function.
