Fail to Fire

On a serious note, as I try to remember un-planned "real malfunctions" I have experienced in the last year or so, I can recall a couple of stovepipes and maybe a failure to feed (round partially up the feed ramp). All were cleared by the tap portion of immediate action with the slide going in to battery on a live round and the pistol able to fire.

You've cleared a stove pipe with the Tap?? A fired cartridge case caught in the ejection port??

The fail to feed would prompt me into a diagnostic look, dead trigger or a weird Glock trigger, so I would look at it and then likely strip/rack/reload.
