Belt Recommendations for EDC?

I'm looking to upgrade/update my belt and looking to get something that's suitable for carrying AIWB (I currently don't carry daily). I'm looking for a belt with a wide range of adjustability as I've had other belts in the past where the fit I want has fallen in between two holes. For reference, I've been wearing a SpecOps brand riggers belt for a while now and I like the velcro adjustment so I can cinch it down as snug as I'd like. However, I'd like to get something that doesn't scream "tactical" as badly, though I usually wear polo shirts untucked, so it may not matter as much (though wearing cargo pants all the time probably doesn't help with trying to go "grey" and low profile).

I was considering getting an HGSI 1.75" Cobra rigger's belt w/o the D ring, but I it might be on the "tactical" looking side of things. Another possible option was the Kore gun belts, but in another thread here someone had posted some issues with the durability on the belts they had for EDC. I also discovered Mission Belt, which looks like it has a similar mechanism to the Kore belts, but they don't say whether they're reinforced or not.

With HolsterCo having a subforum under the Pistol here, has anyone given their belts a go and happen to have a report on how they wear?

Any other ideas of belts I should take look at?

Thanks.

If nylon isn't an issue then the Graith Specialist and Volund G-Hook fit your criteria pretty well. I've been using a Specialist for quite a few months, and it's be awesome. Order a little large though. They seem to run small.

Unfortunately, I haven't found a leather(or similar looking material) belt that fits the same criteria, and has consistently good feedback

I've recently switched from my Ares Gear Aegis Enhanced, that I've been wearing for a few years, to a Blue Alpha Gear Low Profile belt. If you AIWB carry, a flexible belt is a must. The Blue Alpha belts will conform to your body, but will not collapse like a cheap belt. I've heard good things about the Graith belt, but it's not my cup of tea. If you want something with a ton of adjustment, check out the Aegis belts, and if you want to be snazzy, Mean Gene Leather uses the Aegis buckle for some of their belts.

I'm also in the "switched from an Ares Aegis to a Graith Specialist" camp.

My one complaint re: the Specialist is that if you have a holster with a split kydex loop (à la Keepers), and you put a belt loop in the split area, feeding the belt through that is very difficult.

What's the difference between this and the Graith Specialist?
I use closed soft loops. It takes an extra 3 seconds of effort to fish the Graith through them. I have an old holster with a split kydex loop setup on it that was easy to run through.

The difference with the VDev belt is that it's really flexible throughout most of the belt, but the area where the gun should be when carrying AIWB is reinforced.

No idea, they look nearly identical, but from what I read on the specialist just meow was that it’s rigid all the way around, the VDG is only rigid 1/4 of the. Belt. I had never seen the graith until you just brought it up. Seems legit. Metal buckle in an edc belt has always been a necessity for me. The vdevgru dude has been around for a while and I figured I’d give it a go. It worked. I run his buckle at my 3 o clock and it puts the rigid part across my front. Room for a rat in kydex, holster, plus reloads if needed. I don’t run reload but there’s a shit ton of room up front. Doing force on force the belt is nice for when I’m in spinal fexion because it allows a little bit more flex with my hips and not into them due to not being 100% rigid around. Sorry about any typos or grammar I’m on my iPhone at a car dealership while the gf buys a car.

Edit: Helios answered that question already too. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

I've seen feedback about some of their stuff being a copy of other people's work. Some well known people pointed it out and has made me very hesitant to bring them up.
I can see that. I didn't realize it either. I figured the belt industry was just like the kydex holster industry. There are only so many ways to make a belt or holster. Matt can you point me in the direction of some of that information. I'd like to read it. Thanks.

I have used the following two belts AIWB:

A black leather normal spec 7 hole 1.5" The Beltman belt for about 5 years.

https://www.thebeltman.net

An Alonso Defense Group (now Ciguera) Emissary V2 for about 6 months.

http://ciguera.com/emissary-gun-belt-v3/

The Beltman is still in good shape. Nice balanced level of stiffness, easily passes for a dress belt. Good for tucked shirts.

The Emissary is more tactical looking but I only wear it with untucked shirts so it doesn't matter. The stiffness level is perfectly balanced and the narrow low profile buckle prints less than the classic looking Beltman buckle. Discreet Carry Concept clips lock perfectly on to this belt.

Both belts are comfortable but the Emissary is moderately better. Both are good quality.

Both bought with my own cash, no connection with either company.

Thanks for all the replies. After looking over the recommendations, I'm going to order the "Megingjörð" (thanks copy & paste). It ticks the boxes I'm concerned with. Just waiting on new holster to arrive so I can measure myself for the correct size belt.

I've had the Megingjörð for over a year and I got a Graith Specialist last Monday. As soon as I had gotten the Specialist, I knew I would like it better (and I do). But... YMMV.

I can absolutely recommend the graith, I've had mine for over a year. i carry every day and have nothing but positive things to say about it. one hiccup ive had is the stitching on hook Velcro side started to come off after a long time of hard use, i just applied some shoe goo and its totally bullet proof now.

I have the Vdevgru Meningjord belt and am happy with it. Handles a comp'd G19 w/light in the Spotlight AIWB holster well. I am only using it for the firearm, not other EDC items (extra mag, light, med gear, etc)

I like the stiffness of the Ares Gear Aegis Enhanced belt, and the style of the buckle offers lots of adjustment but the buckle is also very large and will beat holes in any untucked shirt. So, I'm looking for a different belt to try myself.
