Crye is still the gold standard for combat pants.....
I definitely like crye over Arcteryx for the pants

I like the Crye air light pads of whatever they are called for the G3 combat pants.

I just got a pair of Beyond A9A mission pants and they are just as good, if not better, than my G3's. The stretch crotch is like a fucking beanbag hammock, worth the price alone. And they are fucking in stock.
They have a pro program LE/mil.

You worn A9a's? The zipper in the fly has two pulls! Sitting in a mini van with 3 guys doing UC cover for a few hours? No sweat, zip bottom up and grab the Gatorade bottle. Gotta take a dookie or just wanna be naked, zip top down. Zipper + Nut Hammock + in stock = Winner.

Just got a new Merino under layer and Gen 2 Naga in Wolf. I'm all about the Arc tops, but I have no idea how the pants fit. The biggest thing I like with the Crye's is that I can get them in Short, Regular, and Tall and waist sizes that are perfect for me. I'm caught between two sizes on the Arc pants; either to big to two small. I do however like Arc's kneepad system much more then Crye's.
Bourneshooter - they have knee pad pockets like Crye, and the Crye air flex as well as knockoffs fit. oddly enough, they don't make or offer a knee pad for their pants. They truly wear like my G3's as far fit and comfort but have a few additions that are kinda nice.

Bourneshooter - The Crye knee pads fit the Beyond, however the bottom of their knee pad enclosure has a full velcro section and you have to undo the velcro to make them fit correctly OR trim the bottom half inch of the pad. They don't fall out with the velcro open since the pad and velcro at the top is holding it in place. My bad

Small, Medium, Large. I wear 34X32 and she told me I was between a med and a large. The internal belt lets you take up some of they waist. I ordered the large and they fit perfect, albeit a little long in the legs.
