Winchester segmenting slug

Does anyone have experience with the Winchester Ranger segmenting slugs RA12RS15S as a duty round?

I like the idea of a one type round for shotguns but have to be skeptical.

We tested it at a gel shoot and it performed very well.

My department issues these as our duty slugs. Both of my gauges really like these slugs and I get less than 3" groups (5 rounds) at 75 yrds with them. I've found the recoil is stout but manageable with good technique.

Against auto-glass, I've seen them punch through well with no visible deflection and remain intact. I've only shot paper and steel with them, however, so I can't speak to their terminal ballistics.

We are now running them as our primary shotgun load (buck is now secondary), with the perspective of possibly phasing out buck completely in the future. We did some good ballistic testing on it including intermediate barriers before adopting it.
