I've used mine in Auto for about 6 months now and have not seen a downside. What's your thoughts?

I've only ever used auto, never had an issue with 5 different RMR's since they were released on pistols and rifles.

I wouldn't use anything else on my carry guns. I don't know what the lighting conditions will be if I need to use it, so the optic needs to automatically adjust.
The manual brightness control can be useful for certain situations, but shouldn't be the default IMO.
The lack of auto brightness adjustment is my main reason for not using the Deltapoint Pro.
