What is stopping power?

Misnomer is probably more accurate. I think it is wise to think in terms of wounding potential. Potential is key because there is no guarantee off achieving the desired affect 100% of the time as the object fired into will be different sometimes. There will be environmental changes and intangibles ( doped up guy, mentally crippled guy ) also.

As far as wounding potential, I like the potential of a 3/4 ton pick up truck at 55mph.

Deluded self confidence that a caliber is more important than training or mindset.

Unless we are talking about .380 acp, because friends don't let friends carry mouse guns.

It is an imaginary thing that is held in highest regard by people who have "been shooting all my [their] life and don't need any training".

To argue with them on anything martial is futile, for they already know everything.

You've been talking to my training officer, huh? :(
