Vortex PST Gen II 1-6 battery drain

My PST Gen II 1-6 seems to drain the 2032 battery over a few weeks even if the switch is in an off position. Has anyone else experienced this? Asking here before contacting Vortex.

My PST Gen II 5-25 seems to have the same issue.

I'm going on 14 months on the battery that came with my 1-6 and I have no dimming or flickering from a draining battery. Something may be up with your scope or the way the battery is contacting.

Primary training gun and kids hunting rifle. Something like 18 months on the first battery and it’s been left on accidentally before.

I have not yet, wanted to see if it was a known issue or there was a known fix first.
