Trigger bite with VP9

Maybe somebody here knows.

When I shoot more than maybe 100 rounds through my VP9 in one session, mostly when doing it relatively rapid fire, I get a blister at the bottom of my trigger finger. It doesn't hurt until I shoot about 300-500 rounds rapidly, which I rarely do. But still wondering - is this a VP9 thing? There is a tiny little notch in the trigger guard directly next to where the trigger rests. Could that be the culprit?

Anyone else getting this?

Hah, my red dot (Holosun) failed the first time I went out shooting with the tape on. They haven't replaced it yet, so I am not shooting at the moment.

I have some ultra fine sanding pads that I used to buff off the edges on the trigger groove in my P30 & VP9 series pistols. I did the same to the edges of the mag releases on my USP, P2000, & HK45c. Link below
