@Jake_Disty, I fail to understand how this sidebar about qual standards is relevant to the individual's efficent use of "50 or 100 rounds per practice session". Seems like qual standards is a discussion for another thread.

"You over here dreamin' about Gorgonzola when it's clearly Brie time, baby!"

It's about making the best possible use of our ammo. Not wasting our time and resources.

Anyway,
with less than 100 rds, I would be doing some combination of:
No Fail pistol - 10 rds
The Super Test - 30rds
150 pt Aggregate @ 15 yards - 15 rds
The Test - 10rds
25 yard slow fire - 10rds
Handgun Combatives 5 in 5 drill

If I only had 50 it would along the lines of
25 yard slow fire
150pt Aggregate
The Test
Presentations from the ready x5
Presentations from the Ready SHO x5
Presentations from the Ready WHO x5

This would be for an indoor range that does not allow drawing from holster, shots closer than 5yds, or 'rapid' fire

For a completely new person, let's just work on keeping 8/10 (ish) inside the black of a B-8 repair center at say 7-10 yards. No time limit, yet.
I personally don't see the point of imposing a time standard on someone with a base level of 0.
