The Roland Special

Unless you really like the finger grooves or get an astonishing deal on the Gen 4, no.
Nope. The only finger groove gun I have is the Gen 1 PPS. The LNIB G4 is $425 and blue label G5 is $400 or G5 MOS (thinking about this one actually) is $477. Would run the FCD plate on the MOS. Thanks for the advice.

Any help would be great

Have a Atei gen 4 roland upper took a g19x frame had work to allow a raven g17 magwell (for the OG looks of course) tried 115/124 grain and get a stovepipe every shot….thing is when this same slide was ran on a g19 frame no issues at all any ideas on what may be causing it ? IMG_8447.jpeg

Try a lighter action spring. If you shoot defensive/duty rounds, how does it run?
I have a craver custom tungsten guide rod with a 15lbs spring.. and again when this was used on a g19 frame it was 100% reliable…. Gonna try some 147 grain and 124 nato maybe that will work I really like the spring weight.

Adding a comp changes up recoil entirely. The comp is removing a lot of the energy that would normally be powering the slide to cycle.

In setting up multiple G19/G19x/G45's with KKM/comps, Win 124 NATO and decently hot Euro 9mm 124gr was what all my guns ate reliably with OEM spring setup.

While Winchester ammo is not great these days, could be something else amiss here.
Today is my Friday as soon as I get off duty lol iam going to ring through about 400 rounds going to get to the bottom of this lol

And, this is a Gen4 slide on top of a Gen 5 frame? I've done the opposite of a Gen 5 slide on a Gen 4 frame (housing Gen 5 parts/trigger save for the slide stop). I can't think of anything that wouldn't play right except there not being a relief in the slide for the ambi safety on the right side...

Have you thought about trimming the right side of the slide stop? Not saying that is causing the problem but one less variable.
