    Hey gents,

I was wondering if you could enlighten me on what the preferred preference is on the tape switch for surefire scout lights. I am aware of the benefits of both designs but was wondering what the preference was over the other and why. DS07 Vs. DS-SR07 ds07-switch.png index.jpg

I use the SRO7 simply for the ability to have the constant on function activated with my support hand. With it though, I cut off the rail attach sections with an exacto knife and glue it to the rail at the 11 o'clock position.

If you don't need that ability the DS07 is fine too. Both set ups are pricey but the ability to activate the light while firing from your support side is a benefit in my experience.

    I like the SR07.

Constant on and a mostly stable built in attachment method.
