Sig updated their website in prep for SHOT Show and accidentally included information on several of their new releases, including updates to the X-Series which includes a new X-Compact and updated X-Series optic plates (that will now allow you to keep your rear iron sight when you add an optic)

I'm interested to know if the X-Compact grip module will still be compatible with the X-Five magwell, like the X-Carry grips are...?

Nothing beyond what's in the article and pictures. It would appear some of them have the older style optic plate with the attached rear sight and some have the new style plate - You can see in the picture that the new X-VTAC has a rear iron sight separate from the optic plate
