I apologize if you already mentioned it, but do the PROs needed suppresser height sights with the DDP or ROMEOs?

This mug bout to go on the duty belt. Kinda heavy like this for a polymer gun

Aside from the current lead times from Safariland, does the X-Full with a dot fit in the 6390 series holsters for the P320?

Edit: Never mind, I just looked again and the product page has been updated and specifically lists the X-Full now.

We are currently adding additional striker fired hand guns for private purchase duty use and the Sigs are next in line for our evaluation.
I see no reason the will have an issue being added based on my experience with the platform but I have to wait until September 10th to get my hands on the T&E guns.
With MRDS being department wide we’re only interested in the Pro model because we require the back up irons and prefer they be fixed to the slide. Standard P320 can of course be milled.
I know the footprint is Deltapoint / Romeo, does anyone have experience with the RMR mounted with a plate or another optic.

What are the pro models?

They are currently only being sold to first responders to my knowledge. Basically an rx slide on an x5 grip with the x5 trigger. X-ray night sights no magwell 3 17rd mags

True that Chriscanbreach. I forgot it, sights won’t cowitness so you’ll need to switch them out if you’re going to run a dot with irons. Also the barrel ( at least mine does) has a LCI cut

Interesting, so yet another Sig revision that eats into their own market. P320 subcompact is now absent from their site so I’m guessing the x-compact and P365 effectively are replacing it. Kind of wish they would stick by their product lines and not keep fiddling with them. For example why would they make the x-ray 3 sights part of the optics cover on previous models? That’s an obvious weak point (no co-witness) when compared to their competition.

The red dot optics that are intended to replace the rear sight plate have a notch and two dots on the body of the optic itself, which will co-witness with a front sight post of the correct height. The body of the red dot effectively becomes your rear BUIS, no need for a redundant dovetailed rear sight

It’s not necessarily the lightening cuts for our department but we do still require iron sights as a back up

I prefer RMRs and others prefer DPPs. We also authorize vortex and Holosun. The DPP can work with their rear sight dovetail but we’ve had horrible luck with those lasting 6 months.

Sig is going to adapt to the rmr footprint and has been working with Springer precision for an adaptor plate in the meanwhile.

The pro cut fits our need and will for others I’m sure.
