I have had my 6354do holster for about 4-5 years now and today when I was about to do some mods to it, I "threw" my g17 in the holster and when I was about to carry the gun I noticed it didn't fully lock (was about to fall out)
Upon further inspection the als mechanism wasn't fully seating/locking into place. I took it apart and it revealed that the spring in the pivot point was broken
I have contacted my local safariland dealer to see if they can source a few new springs for me, but in the mean time, heads up to the rest of you out there that may have run this holster hard for several years.
