RFI: T-2/H-2 on a Handgun.

Whats the verdict, Can you? Should you? Downsides? Rifle mounts for these two optics are the same ones used for the T-1/H-1/R-1.

The new models aren't substantially heavier than their older less exspensive brethren, and boast better optical clarity, protected elevation turret, and a crisper dot. I cannot think of a real downside aside from cost.

I feel that the T/H2 Aimpoints are overkill on a pistol or other short range weapon. I've liked the 4moa dot over the newer 2moa dot for pistol work.

On a carbine I would be OK with it, but besides the dot size I don't see any additional benefit besides the eye appeal. The T1 IMHO is perfect.

It works, but can't fit into a duty holster easily...
What are your thoughts about the new Surefire Master Fire Holster as a duty holster?
