As the title suggests, I am looking for recommendations for a Level III shield, for the purpose of home defense, but primarily because I live next to a school. That my daughter will be going to. I am not worried about a shooting happening, just want to be prepared if so.
If it can be had for a $2k (although I am willing to adjust for quality)

For size, I am a 6' 240 lb guy active guy, what size of a shield would those with experience recommend?
