Video of No Fail Pistol:

The Presscheck Consulting No Fail Pistol course is designed to equip patrol and tactical officers with the skills to make high risk / high reward pistol shots in critical situations.
This 16 hour course stresses the importance of being able to place accurate hits on small, moving, and limited exposure critical areas of the human body to instantly cease all motor function or cause rapid unconsciousness usually resulting in death.

Training Objectives
•General refresher on the basic fundamentals of gun handling and marksmanship (BY EXCEPTION. Come to this course knowing how to shoot. This is an intermediate to advanced level shooting course)
•Zero/confirm zero on all optics and lasers (and iron sights if needed)
•Provide students/officers a chance to have their shooting techniques observed by the trainer in order to provide that student/officer with individual feedback on ways to improve performance in accuracy and speed
•Engagement of low percentage targets (small strike area often obscured with a hostage or other no-shoot area)
•Shooting multiple targets
•Shooting on the move (if class progression allows)
•Competitive shooting drills around your peers to build esprit de corps and create self-induced stress to perform
•The student will understand the importance of critical hits and the consequences of a miss, and will be able to diagnose if they are capable of achieving hits at any given moment based upon pre-shot diagnostics of their sights in real time.
•This course will enable the student to continue to develop and maintain these skills through the use of clear, repeatable standards.
•The student should leave the course with a firm understanding of their personal capability to make low percentage “No-Fail” shots.

Mil/Leo only?

MOT,

This is an "open enrollment" class meaning anyone can take the class. If it's a "closed enrollment" class (ie. LEO or Mil only) it will almost always say in the heading for the class.

Thanks USMC03.

I’m inclined to take the class even though I’m not an advanced shooter. I imagine the class will be well worth it despite my relative lack of skill. B8s are not my friend. I have a plan to get better involving 5” steel at 25 and more dry fire.

You don't have to be an advanced shooter to take this course. A course like the NO Fail pistol will get any shooter shooting better. You're paying the money to get the instruction to learn to shoot better. I have never taken a course with a nationally known instructor an shot the same or worse when I finished the class. Shooting small targets at distance has definitely improved my pistol skillset.

P&S did a two hour YouTube video on the No Fail pistol within the last week, you should check it out. Had I not just bought a KAC upper, I would’ve already signed up. Hopefully I can make it work before the class fills. Chuck is on my ever-shrinking list of instructors that I will pay money to train with.

Thanks for the responses gents.
I listened to the podcast. Good stuff as always.
As I think about this course I realized that I’m not vetted as far as I can tell. Not military or LE either. Do I have to earn this somehow?

MOT,

As was stated above it's an OPEN ENROLLMENT class. Anyone can sign up. You don't have to be vetted, military, or Law Enforcement. The only thing that is require is that you know how to shoot. Hope this helps.

Do you get further range details and information after signing up? I noticed the details page doesn't include any info about the Colorado class. I'm assuming that just means it's not a gov range subject to vetting, is that accurate?

Most of the fall courses have not been built out on the e commerce side of the site. They have to be added to the software as an item to be purchased by ODS. When the site updates and the fall classes are built. The Colorado No Fail Pistol course will appear in the drop down menu. When the course is full, there will be no items left for purchase (on the shelf) of the E store.

I'm hoping to get all of the fall classes on the calendar moved into the E-store before 1 August

Thanks Chuck!

I have a document that I'll be sending to Chuck with directions to the range, lodging info, etc for students coming to this class.

I still owe everybody an AAR on this course, but suffice to say it was an outstanding training event. It's not your typical million rep, blast'em-til-we-hit'em pistol course. The emphasis on shot accountability is great and an eye opener that many need. If you have the opportunity to take it, you won't regret it.

I’m all signed up, if anybody needs a ride from Denver area down send me a PM. I should have space for 1-3 as long as you aren’t bringing the whole kitchen sink with you.
