Ops ore interaction with Over the Top Headsets

For those who have used the various Opscore worm dials and twists. How does the headband systems interact with Peltor over the top headsets? Rail adapters are not an option so please don’t suggest that. The Opscore H Nape and Team Wendy pads are the curent issued system. We tried the twist headband in a few Safariland helmets a few years back when there was a square peg working in a round hole and they failed miserably with the peltors. The shells will likely be Opscore TBH or SF styles just trying to work through the guts.

Are you guys going EPP or Lux liner with the Worm or Occ Dial? The EPP pads are going to allow you to simply remove the top central pad and have all the room until the shell, the Lux liner on the other hand has a foam pad that covers the entire shell that the comfort pads attach to which will restrict the amount of headband room. The EPP pads have a lot of room for a headband, but feel like rocks and generally suck unless you are looking for tension headaches. The Lux liner will have very little room for a headpand and is an off brand Team Wendy pad at best but is notably more comfortable than EPP pads.

Also why are rail adapters a no go on high cut helmets? Something like a Unity MARK is infinitely more comfortable and secure than running a headband under a helmet.
