Offset RDS vs Irons

Been busy so I haven't stopped by here for a while. I am in the process of building a DMR/SPR/RECCE/ Whateveritisthisweek rifle currently. I have not got them yet, but I have ordered a set of offset irons and an offset mount for a T1 because I didn't know the answer to the above question. I plan on installing both and shooting with both. I'm interested to hear what others have to say.

I have done irons and an RMR06 since this post. RDS wins hands down.

I may go T1 at some point.

I'm Just waiting for the UPS man to bring my mounts. He failed today but managed to bring my wife's 400 boxes of shoes and crap from Zapos and Amazon.

I'll go with RDS over irons every day of the week, for many reasons.

RDS is faster.

RDS is more capable.

RDS is trained on in GPF far more than irons.

My M4 and DMR have offset RDS and no irons these days.

Was thinking the same thing as TerminalEffect. Also, outside the DR I think the irons will weigh less, cost less, and (if folding are used) be lower-profile.
