NF 2.5-10X24

So the FB sniper optic thread got me thinking about a carbine build I'm planning. I have both a x32 and x42 version of this scope but for some reason I can't stop thinking about acquiring a X24. I have never actually used one and have no idea how it compares to the two bigger models but for some reason I can't help but think it would be the shit for the rifle I am planning. I am really kicking myself for not picking one of the special run that euro optics did last year with the MIL-R reticle if for no other reason that I could sell it at a profit now.

Is this optic as sweet as I have built it up to be in my mind? Are their others that fit in the same category that have better availability? Or should I have the cash ready and be willing to pay when I come across one?

If you're looking to cut a little weight then the 24 is nice. However from an optical design, the 32 and 42 will have better resolving power as well as a larger exit pupil which will give you a brighter perceived image.

Sounds like you really want one anyway so I say just do it!
