Magpul SGA fit issues

I just bought a Magpul SGA stock for my 870 Wingmaster. When installing it I heeded the instructions, which cautioned against over-tightening the mounting bolt. I still secured the bolt snugly but if I grip the receiver in one hand and the SGA in the other, it still twists a little bit from side-to-side. I doubt I could tighten the bolt any further without going into Retard Strength territory.

Does this have something to do with my 870 being an older 2 3/4"-only receiver? Is there a spacer that I can get that will take away the wobble?

If you have a Dremel tool you could cut about a thread and a half off the end of the bolt. It is likely bottoming out in the receiver.
Or you could buy a flat washer at the hardware store for that bolt diameter.

Thanks, that's a good idea. I just thought I'd get others' advice before I started any Dremel massacres.
