Anyone used this product? It replaces the factory magazine spring with a flat steel spring. I'm considering it for a G43 to add +1 to the magazine. I've just never seen anything like it.

I used it with my shield, both the +1 and +2 versions. I originally had the springs installed backwards, but after fixing that I had no issues through 1K. I sold the pistol after that unrelated to the MG.

I have two (formerly 7 & 8rnd) mags with the kits installed and they both have about 200 rounds through them. No issues so far. turning my Shield into a 10 or 11 round gun has really made me reconsider it's usefulness outside of the duty backup role. The extensions add a negligible amount of length to the grip in terms of concealment, but the one of the 7rnd mag is just long enough for me to get my pinky fully on the grip now. That said, I have little girl hands (size Med OR gloves) so...
