LFI Sims/UTM/FOF/etc systems

Folks,

I'm looking into updating our force on force training equipment for a municipal SWAT team. Our SIMS handguns are GTG but our upper receivers are 9mm, over a decade old and perform poorly as compared to 5.56 bolt conversions we have used in outside trainings.

We've only ever been exposed to the SIMS brand in house and at outside trainings(maybe it's a regional thing) is there any reason to consider UTM or FOF over SIMS?

The only distributer for UTM in the US is Pheonix RBT solutions. If you're looking for selling points, then UTM is more reliable, no wax threads down your barrel, more accurate, and have a better range. The UTM website can tell you specifics.

Bringing back an old post...Hopefully by now, Beastmaster got some information.

If anyone has questions about UTM I am one of their Instructors for their train -the -trainer programs.

Also able to help get folks switched out at little to no cost for Rifle NLTA (Non-lethal training ammo)
