Currently running a Steiner P4Xi as primary optic on my general purpose 16 inch gun.
Mounted in a basic Warne 30mm AR mount. Will upgrade to ADM or G 1.93 soon, just sits way too low for me.
Looking to add a T2 in the future, but unfamiliar with many dedicated left side mounting options. Would go with offset irons but having focusing issues and I want to try something new.
I have seen the Warne RAMP mount.
I do not like it for several reasons.
I have also heard of some folks flipping around a RH rear iron sight and running it backwards.
I do not know if this is a satisfactory option for iron sight use.
Translating the idea to a backup T2 seems like a bad idea to me.
If there are other, better options out there I am all ears. Thanks in advance.
