KNS Switch Sights VS Fixed Suppressor Height Sights?

I’m looking for some opinions on this from those that may have much more time running a RDS on a pistol than I do.
I’m currently running KNS Switch sights on my G17 & G19 without any problems. I’m in the process of setting up another G19 with a RMR. For those that run fixed suppressor height sights with your pistol RDS, do feel that they are a hindrance in some capacity or more helpful?
My primary reason for switching to a RDS was due to my near vision falling off the cliff, and my not being able to see fixed sights as clearly as I did say 10 years ago.
I feel that co-witnessed fixed sights with the red dot is a lot of clutter and too many different visual contact points. I personally like the clean window view with the KNS sights and having the redundancy of BUIS. But I want to make sure I’m not missing something before I roll with another set of KNS sights.
