Issue installing rail

Greetings, I acquired a Centurion Arms C4 rail for my Colt 6720 upper, however upon trying to install it the cut gas block is a little to big for the front of the rail to meet and be screwed together. Any suggestions on how to fix this, just take a file and shave some metal? Thank you.

Personal opinion, you've already taken too much off the top of the gas block and should replace it.

But yes, a file will work for the corners.

That’s the factory job on the gas block
