I'm one of those guys who wanted Inforce products to work out because I liked the appearance, form factor and overall idea behind their designs, however I broke two of their Gen 1 WMLs (switch failure on the first, which was replaced under warranty, and then the head broke right off the replacement at the threads) and a Gen 1 APL (body cracked at the rail). I never tried the Gen 2+ WML so I can't say for sure they have or have not fixed the previous issues, but I do have an APLc on one of my G19s and it hasn't let me down. I'm still wary of their products, and highly suggest Surefire and Streamlight.
If your reason for wanting to mount the light at 12 o'clock is for thumb activation, get a scout light and mount the tape switch at 12 o'clock, preferably with a Cloud Defensive LCS.
