In-ear active ear pro

Anyone have any experience with either the Peltor TEP-100 or Etymotic EB15LE ear protection? They're about the same price and the only difference I can see is one is rechargeable and one uses replaceable batteries.

Is there another option I don't know about yet?

SoundGear has been at the NRA conventions. There's also the Sport Ears Ghost Stryke/Ghost Stryke II and Silynx Clarus Pro. An interesting workaround is the pair the GunSonics! app with a pair of properly fitted IEMs.

I'd also note that in-ear protection alone is generally considered inadequate for louder noises, though I do not know the threshold, due to bone conduction issues. Best practice would be to double up, either way.

OK, so there's some options out there I wasn't aware of. The hard part will be figuring out what differentiates them.

Muffs or double ears is ideal, but this is more of a better-than-nothing solution.
