It's too bad there are troubles with Hudson. It's a clever design, and the people making it seemed to be doing it for all the right reasons. I hope it doesn't become the Bren Ten, V 2.0.
It is my ardent hope that another manufacturer purchases the design, continues to develop it, fixes any issues, and re-releases it. Ideally said manufacturer would honor the pistols already purchased and owned as well, but that is a bit more of a long shot...
Of relevance, looks like KE Arms was supplying Hudson's slides and was working with them on the aluminum frames. They have unsold, unpaid-for components that they may make available to consumers as well as considering producing various small components to repair/replace customer guns;
