Oooh, this section is also new to me.

I am interested in your optic mount. Really want one of those gas tube rails but haven't seen one for sale for years and years. Is this one custom for the OEG or what?

The optic mount is all Armson. The OEG and mount
just clamps to the existing gas tube.

I had opportunity to use a South African R4 at AASAM as a young, dopey Diglet.
I was impressed with it.

Time for another clone post. Here's my 1988 Izhevsk AK-74. Childers receiver and Green Mountain barrel. The Aimpoint mounted in the photo was just for testing, it usually wears the original leaf sight.
