Buck Doyle served over 21 years in the US Marine Corps, including 17 years and multiple combat tours with Special Operations units. As a Reconnaissance Marine attached to 1st Force Recon, 1st Recon BN, and MARSOC units, Doyle served as Team Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and Chief Instructor at Special Missions Training Branch. He has current, extensive experience in hostile fire/combat zones in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Doyle retired from the Marine Corps a Master Sergeant with multiple awards, including the Bronze Star (with Valor). Buck is one of nine U.S. service members featured in Mark Lee Greenblatt's recently released book, “Valor: Unsung Heroes of Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Home Front.”
In 2010, Buck founded Follow Through Consulting, LLC, and spent four years contracting with the Department of Defense as a member of the Joint Expeditionary Team (JET), advising and assisting combat units in Afghanistan. Follow Through has since focused on and expanded its training capabilities to include law enforcement and qualified civilians in addition to military units. Buck also provides consultation to companies in the area of product development (military & civilian equipment), team building, and leadership. He currently resides with his wife and daughters in the beautiful Cache Valley area of Utah.

Follow Through's 1-Day Carbine course is for shooters of all levels. This full day of instruction reinforces safety and builds upon the individual shooters' foundational skills. An emphasis on the practical application of weapon manipulation, mindset, and marksmanship distinguish this training from other 1-day carbine courses. Subjects covered: Tactical/speed reloads, malfunctions, shooting on the move, multiple target engagement, barricade shooting, and timed shoot & maneuver drills.

CARBINE I: PRACTICAL APPLICATION (2 DAYS)
This is a 2-day course for shooters of all levels. Carbine I reinforces safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship covered in Carbine Intro & 1-Day courses, then builds upon the individual shooters' foundational skills through practical application. Subjects covered include malfunctions, shooting on the move, tactical/speed reloads, multiple target engagement, barricade shooting, and timed shooting drills.

CARBINE II: EXTENDED APPLICATION (3 DAYS)
This is a 3-day course for intermediate and experienced carbine shooters. Carbine II reinforces safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship covered in Carbine Intro, 1-Day & Carbine I, and builds upon the individual shooters' foundational skills. Subjects covered include malfunctions, shooting on the move, tactical/speed reloads, multiple target engagement, barricade shooting, timed shooting and scenario-based drills, as well as qualification drills.

1-DAY TACTICAL CARBINE: "FUNDAMENTALS OF GUNFIGHTING"
This one-day course reinforces safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship, then builds upon the individual shooters' foundational skills. Limited to just 10 shooters per class, prepare to get more instruction in one long day than you're used to getting in three. Subjects covered include individual diagnostics, barricade shooting, malfunctions, tactical reloads, fire & maneuver, and multiple target engagement. By days' end you will learn to shoot, move, and communicate--with a gunfighters' mindset.

SCOPED CARBINE (3 DAYS)
Scoped Carbine course focuses on educating the individual student how to appropriately manipulate and accurately shoot a scoped AR style rifle (AR10, SPR, Recon setup, etc.). Scoped Carbine is ideal for the hunter transitioning from a bolt-action rifle to an AR, 3 Gun competitors, and for long range shooting situations. Subjects covered include: zeroing, range estimation, utilizing practical supported/non-supported shooting positions, observation methods with a rifle scope, atmospherics, low-light shooting, and accurately engaging targets from 25 to 800+ meters.

1-DAY PISTOL
This is a 1-day pistol course for new shooters or those who need a refresher on the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship. The following subjects are covered: safe handling and maintenance of your pistol, fundamentals of marksmanship, loading and unloading procedures, diagnostic firing drills, reloads (admin/tactical/speed) drills, malfunctions, different firing positions, and establishing and maintaining a shooters' mindset.

Pistol 1 is a 2-day course for shooters who have attended an Intro/Basic pistol course from Follow Through or other accredited instructor. Pistol I reinforces safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship as well as covering subjects including: strong hand and support hand shooting, shooting on the move, barricade shooting, timed shooting drills, introduction to low light/night time shooting* (*select dates, daylight savings dependent), and concealed carry techniques.

LADIES' PISTOL & HOME DEFENSE (1 DAY)
A course designed specifically for women who want expert training in the safe and effective use of their pistol, including functional instruction on home defense. The following subjects are covered: safe handling and maintenance of your pistol, fundamentals of marksmanship, loading and unloading procedures, diagnostic firing drills, reloads (admin/tactical/speed) drills, malfunctions, different firing positions, and establishing and maintaining a shooters' mindset.

The Executive course is a custom training package designed to meet the needs of the individual, couple, or small group. Whether it's a one-day couples' training, a four-day corporate team-building retreat, or something in between, we can design a package around your group's preferences.
For an unforgettable shooters' experience at one of the most scenic ranges in the country, we offer Executive/Custom training packages at the Lodge at Red River Ranch in Teasdale, UT near Capital Reef National Park.
