Erie, CO hotels

I will be in Erie, CO for a training in April and am looking for local recommendations for decent places to stay for a couple nights. I'm self-funding this trip so trying to stay cheap, but don't want a dive.

Just stay in Louisville, somewhere off of 36 and McCaslin. Pretty inexpensive depending on time of year, I think right now rooms are going for about $80/night. If there's a Buffs game or some other event at CU they'll probably up the prices. You'll have a bit of a drive to Erie which is about 20ish minutes away, but you'll be central to a lot of dining. You could also look at Longmont, but due to their proximity to Boulder and a lot of tech/pharmaceutical companies their prices are a twinge higher. It's about the same drive time as well.
