Like the title says, I'm looking for a cummerbund or similar that is slick, has velcro attachment points on the ends, and is capable of holding thin side plates under a duty uniform. Did I mention I would like it to be concealed as well?
What I envision is a 4" or so wide strap (wider if need be), long enough to go from a front panel to a rear panel, hollow on the inside so something like an Armor Express ICW side plate would slide in and be secure.
Any suggestions that fit the bill?
