Curious on what people are wearing for baselayers. I'm in Iowa and cold weather season is here. I work nights and have a K9 so I'll be in the cold either training or call out stuff. I refuse to wear a coat as it makes it hard to get to my stuff on my outer carrier and I just don't like the added bulk. I have both Merino wool and some UA and some blended stuff. Last year was the first year I actually spent the money on high quality merino 260/g wool base layers. I want to like it, but not sure it works as well as some other options. I've been eyeballing some Patagonia stuff but wanted to check to see what some real world users are using and how they are liking it.
