Version 2 of my Hodge barreled SPR. Target was shot with a 2-10 scope during barrel break in. Just switched to a 1-8, and will probably look for a Razor soon, so it can pull SPR jobs and backup my 12.5" gun at classes.IMAG0961.jpgIMAG0742.jpg

SPR 2013 and SPR 2019

XZEV2F3.jpg

"2019" - a.k.a. "New Hotness"
Proof Research 18" 1/7 rifle-length .223 Wylde (Shoots great; heats quick but cools quick too, gives the rifle excellent balance)
Surefire CAM556FA (I just like the look of 'em and I suspect the generous bore and weight have a positive...or at least don't degrade accuracy like some)
ERA-TAC buis (Waiting on 4-16 ATACR w/ Mil XT....selling off those ounces I bought back with the other parts selection)
Forward Control Design BCG (Cause NP3 is cool)
Badger/Harris bipod setup (cause the swivel stud mounted bipod is out)
Hodge Pinch Lock (Cause it's rigid AF and better looking than a Geissele)
Hodge Mod 1 Receiver set w/ Lower done up Mod 2 style (If you get it, you get it)
Vltor A5 buffer system
LMT SOPMOD w/ Hoptic saddle blanket
Geissele SSA-E

"2013" - a.k.a "Super Mk12"
Centurion Mk12 Douglas 1/7 rifle-length 5.56 (Shoots well enough out to 650+ but has never shot as tight as some other makes)
Surefire CAM556SA
KAC buis
Colt BCG
Daniel Defense DDM4/Lite 3 Rail (because I thought the bolt-up design was the least likely to cause accuracy problems?)
Vltor MUR (cause thicker is better?)
LMT lower
Geissele SSA-E
Schmidt & Bender 1.5-8x26 (previously NF 2.5-10. The better S&B's better glass made up for the loss of 2x and the 1.5 made for better but not optimal close in work for when I started using this gun in my work rotation.)

ADM Recievers
Geissele 13" mk14
Vltor A5 buffer system
Rosco 14.5" Bloodline mid length barrel
Rosco gas tube and block
Surefire warcomp pinned
SOLGW BCG
Geissele b-grf trigger
Radian safeties
Radian charging handle
Magpul grip
Steiner p4xi 1-4x in a Larue mount
Magpul pro backup irons
Arisaka handstop
B5 sopmod stock

Streamlight is off the rifle currently. Got something else planned for white light on this eventually.
rifle build.jpg

Introduction into night vision build
Aero recievers
SOLGW BCG
Rosco stainless 10.5 barrel
Geissele gas block
Rosco gas tube
Surefire warcomp
BCM trigger group
CMMG safeties
AXTS/Radian charging handle
Cloud Defensive COR rail
SBA3 brace
ESD sling
Streamlight Protac HLX with Arisaka adapter to a Surefire dual pad
Dbal A3
Magpul pro irons
Trijicon MRO on ADM "NV" mount (2.33)
BCM grip
BCM KAG
Standard buffer system with an h2. Planning to go to the A5 like my 14.5.

Any reason why you run the ATPIAL behind the FSP vs. in front?

Two reasons really,
First is I don’t have long arms, to access the fire button on the ATPIAL. It is out of reach for me if it’s mounted in front of the FSP. I would have to use a dual switch setup if in that position.
Second is balance, when mounted in front of the FSP. You can definitely feel the difference in the two mounting positions. The SOCOM barreled RIS II is a beast weight wise already and an extra 8 ozs out front from the ATPIAL-C doesn’t help.

Makes sense.

My main squeeze...

BCM 11.5" ELW MCMR upper, Mod 0 lower, ambi Gunfighter CH, BCG, SOPMOD stock, M-LOK QD sling adapter, KAG & rail panels.
Dead Air brake & Sandman-K w/ 5.56 FH end cap.
Proctor QD sling.
Vortex Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24, switchview throw lever & American Defense Mfg. Recon-H (1.93) mount.
Magpul MBUS Pro, BAD lever & M2 PMAGs w/ MagPods.
Surefire M600DF, UE-SR07 & Impact Weapon Components / HSP Thorntail 2 Inline scout mount.
Geissele Super 42 buffer, spring, & tungsten pucks in H3 configuration.
CMC 3.5lb flat bow single stage with KNS Gen 2 Mod 3 pins.

10k rounds and counting on this gun. Only thing I may change is swapping the Surefire KE2 head for a ModLite PLH head.
