Tyty. It feels much lighter than I expected even with the MAWL + Warden . The NX8 T2 combo feels about the same as my old vortex razor setup with just the razor by itself.
I'll need to put some more time on it but so far it doesn't feel that much heavier than my older setup with the MAWL + Razor. The SF Warden is entirely optional so taking that off will make it feel much lighter up front.
MEGA forged lower, right to bear arms nickel boron upper, Black hole 18" light profile barrel, battle comp, SLR light solo light rail, Rainer Arms BCG and A5buffer system, Topped off wit a Bushnell elite 1-6.5X in a Bobro mount. Cerkote done by Russell at FMJ Armory.

Why?
1) Wanted to be able to take advantage of 7.62x39 low cost and barrier penetration while using a good platform (IE not an AK)
2) Legal hunting with a .30cal that isn't .308
3) I have a bunch of AR's in 5.56 and 300blk...variety is the spice of life.
That's really it. To me its a more reasonable outside the box AR than a 6.8 or 6.5 Grendel. 7.62x39 is going to be around forever.

@KentuckyWindage Cool SCAR. Normally posts w/o explanations are frowned upon, though with a SCAR how much further explanation is needed beyond what we can see? Is there anything cool about your rifle that isn't visually apparent? Like who makes that scope mount? Is that the Razor Gen 2 or the -E version?
