Those 870's will breach as is, no sweat. No single point slings on anything.

I wasn't too clear in my remark. Our shotguns currently run VTAC slings, BUT, if I were king and could magically produce some shorter guns (pistol grip only, barrel cut flush with the end of the 5 round mag tube), I would want a single point sling on those so that the breachers could also run a regular long gun and choose what the proper gun is for the situation at hand. I am a fan of using the gun that is in your hand to shoot who needs it, but if you have a moment before rolling into a room, I see nothing wrong with switching back to a rifle or subgun.
