BFG belt pouches

What if we have questions about product XYZ?

Say, like, Blue Force Gear: when we can expect the belt mounted pouches and new pack to be released?

Is there a particular place we can ask questions such as those? :D

C'mon BFG, I'm looking to order/try a new pair of cuffs (Peerless Superlight's), and will need a new cuff pouch. I'm also curious to see if the pouch will hold oversized cuffs and/or shackles. Could use a new hotsauce holder too while I'm at it.

To be fair, I haven't seen Stephen on the forum yet, so I suspect he doesn't even know about your question. Have you tried emailing or calling BFG?

I've emailed, facebooked, and posted in threads started by Stephen on another forum.

It's not the end of the world. Delayed releases have kind of become the norm with everything from gun stuff to Jeep parts.

This. Hell pretty sure he & I posted in the same Facebook thread (and we're not bookface pals).

No big deal, it'd just be nice to know if we're talking closer to April or closer to August.

I want to know how you like those peerless superlite's. Why doesn't BFG make Molle cuff pouches? I have an HSGI SureGrip belt I have used for a couple years a I love it. Now that the Slim Grip belt is out, I am tempted to the idea of using it for LE. It could be pretty friggin' comfy. But, radio, cuff, OC, and Light pouches need to be available before I entertain that idea fully. I have tried the Taco cuff pouch. It isn't bad... I LOVE taco's for mags, but I prefer slimmer cuff pouches.

Would you say Whisper pouches last just as long as anything else?

I wouldn't say that at all...they're also not supposed to. 10SPD pouches are super light and very thin. After a while, they need to be replaced. The length of that "while" depends on a variety of factors; the largest factor I've seen for accelerated wear is use for oversized items.

What I mean by that is that you can use a pistol 10SPD for a Leatherman (smallest), a Glock mag (medium), or a pocket smoke (largest). If you use them for pocket smokes, they'll become unsuitable for the Leatherman quickly.

I just finished a course where a teammate had 10SPD pouches actoss his chest for spare pistol mags; they should have been replaced with new 10SPDs years ago. Every time he swung the ram, at least one mag fell out.

All gear should be considered a consumable; at some point, it wears out. If it's AMAZEBALLS for a year before needing replacement, that might be better for your needs than being "Meh" for 10 years. Your call.
