Better sights on a s&w 640

I recently purchased a s&w model 640 2.25, and it seems like a great gun, but the sights are miserable, hard to see, very chunky. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith that offers services for these small guns, specifically guys who can put dovetails in place of the tiny rear notch. The front sight is pinned, and will be replaced by a Dawson fiber optic front.

Check out companies like Bowen Classic Arms or Cylinder & Slide; they do great work on small guns and can handle dovetail installs.

I have one with a X/S dot that is an option. The D&L is the way to go on these guns. I ll likely have Finks do the D&L on a pair I have my wife and I use.
