"Stripped" means just the barrel and the barrel extension; nothing else. If you have weighed one of your stripped AR-15 barrels, post-up your data. Bonus points for posting a pic of the stripped barrel!

Hodge Defense 14.5" barrel: 1 pound, 8.5 ounces.

Colt 14.5" M4 barrel: 1 pound, 9 ounces.

Sadly, the truth of the matter is that the overwhelming majority of the barrel weights listed in that data-base are just the propaganda numbers from the manufacturers and hardly any of the weights posted in that database clearly describe whether or not those weights include the front-sight base, gas block, end-cap, delta-ring assembly etc. Nor do any of the entries in that data base include actual user-taken pictures of the stripped barrels so that people know just what type of profile they're getting.
