Anyone else enjoy the FN line of pistols?

I had a sight failure on my FNS-9 as well. While I wasn't happy with my former department's FNS experience, I didn't blame FN for that issue. I imagine the problem was experienced by other gun manufacturers and agencies that used the sights.

We transitioned from the SIG .40 226 and 239 to the FNS-9. Excellent shots maintained their proficiency. Lower performing shooters did better. More dedicated, but less talented, shooters like me tended to do worse with the pistol.

I bought a 509T earlier this year. I love that thing! It has become one of my daily carries and my go-to for the range. If they weren't so damn expensive, they might garner a better share of the LE market. Even the individual officer price for the 509T was $825.
